剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     [09/01纽约首映]高于预期。完全可以想象尚气这种既有当代中国的表达，又有亚裔表达的电影，很容易在很多很低层面的水平搞砸；尚气的处理是超过预期的。从diaspora的视角看：三个年轻人的选角表现出的中文水平和英文口音都和他们角色的经历能对上（生在美国vs青春期离开中国vs一直在亚洲但是英文很好）。中文台词还是有点糟糕，但是不是谷歌翻译那种；更多是漫威的拿腔拿调风格作祟。什么场合用中文、什么场合用英文在双语之间切换也是禁得起推敲的。

    剧本肯定拍着又改，拍完又折腾改了剧情，为了掩饰美国创作班底那些臆想的中国人和居高临下的态度。无甚好说，1星给成家班的武指，1星给梁朝伟。他们应该是拿工钱而没到拿票房分成的级别。这么一想，在中国不上映还是很完美的。
