Arkham, 1975: Jonathan Davis' father has disappeared. His tracks lead to Germany, to the Swabian-Franconian Forest where he was stationed after the Second World War. brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'
跟想象中差距很大，一开始以为是中年男人危机所以出轨Yolo，结果是确诊了癌症。但他的面对机制是找一个墨西哥年轻女人玩儿？我真的不太能理解。
前期的悬疑和多线配上这个结局就变成了故弄玄虚。

本人喜爱的小格局枪战片，尤其喜欢变态杀手微冲扫门那场戏，故事本身不算出彩，女主角酷的不行。
情节的编排上强助推压缩加速 所以两轮急冲由事件突变进而带到了人物突变 此时动机和符号不用提炼直接跃然眼前 因果链条也就明晰了 Neil 和妹妹侄辈的疏远 对待意外死亡的冷静 绵延强烈的基础欲望 遗产汲血的幻视和机体末期的顽疾 最后一镜也就是浮木一生
看了半天结尾就这？！也就二点五分吧，可惜不能打半颗星。
一个女孩被作家性骚扰，作家老婆知道后疯了弄死了自己女儿，最后自杀。作家把一切迁怒在女孩身上，杀光了女孩全家（只剩女孩和她妹妹（妹妹和作家女儿同龄？），最后女孩为保护妹妹在作家面前跳楼死了，结局妹妹和作家在一起了。电影没说明作家怎么杀死其他人的（或者说是他们遭天谴？）,看不太懂想表达什么。性骚扰毕竟是事实。
作家智商高情商低，女助手开放妩媚惹人误会。
但此时，一个刺客的到来，引发了警察局的全面的混乱...
乔·卡纳汉的新电影《警察局》，一改之前作品直男、硬汉的纯动作片性质。以《黄金三镖客》和《肮脏的哈利》等东木的老动作片为灵感，致敬了《紧急搜捕令》。整体格局更小，重点刻画西部无人区的荒蛮与黑色，比较复古，看着有种科恩兄弟《老无所依》的感觉。但是放在现代网络背景下，有些剧情并不符合情理。“Yeah, well. You in the cop business. So that makes you a murderer. But I'm in the murder business, so that just makes me a laborer. You see how that works?” / 2022.2.5 家

开篇人声配乐好，21岁生日礼物的枪首尾呼应，酷盖女主非常主旋律，寸头，自购复古左轮，结尾射杀转轮非常仪式感，往帅了拍。

小成本警匪片，精简版血溅十三号警署。正派杀手转变说服力不足。摄影冷峻工业风赞，色调构图不错，装逼算适度，枪战尚到位。年度爽片无稽，甚至爽片都谈不上，但在可观堪赏范围内。
一句慌话接连不断的谎，男主是自找苦吃。对问题回避，不知道如何面对，最后就还被迫等待死亡时。无意义的一生。

电影风格还挺独特的，故事有点狗血，看过了有记忆点。
一个是拍过天龙特攻队的导演，一个是有自己陷落系列的杰拉德，然后加一个因为漫威电影开始有热度的弗兰克，来给一个新的女黑人演员做配，拍出一部如此无聊的动作片，说它像血溅十三号警署简直是侮辱 十三号警署
