美术风格、画面镜头、服化道这些都极尽完美之能事，故事剧情就算了吧，原本就是个没啥看头的传说故事，看之前可以先去读一下那个故事。
美术很赞，别出心裁的打光、巧妙的构图，舒适的色彩，这是一部为电影院而生的电影。艺术感浓烈，风格诡谲，是A24的味。可惜剧情实在是欣赏不来，更谈不上史诗。舒缓的节奏加上阴郁的情绪很催眠，一不小心就睡了…
