The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 2.5；看的时候就觉得是在pandemic期间用无人的赌场拍的，一查Wikipedia果然，用了六天就拍完了。Paul Schrader还是安心写剧本吧，好的影评人未必是好导演。
男主角的颜值撑完了全场！各大赌场的浏览纪录片…故事内核就是个复仇的故事，出来混都是要还的。折磨变态，克制，暴力，智慧，天资。莫名其妙的感情线…整体配乐难听到莫名其妙，半死不活刻意而为。但是男主真的帅到能看完…
就像男主光着身子坐在桌前，却穿戴整齐躺在床上。赌博者和监狱虐囚两个主题穿插得满是违和感，让作为观者的我感到情绪被切割成很多块，无法拼装。
套上这个无聊的复仇故事，奥斯卡的魅力可以说少了半分
赌场精算钱稳赚，自律蒙布尘不染。
说实在话我不知道片子到最后是要讲什么，难道是伤害别人的人也有PTSD吗？谁能给我解解惑
男主很有型 片子虽沉闷 手法却是我喜欢的类型
不愧是奥斯卡爹地，穿老干部全套也还是如此性感。画面和故事都很极简，文本乏善可陈，说是算牌人但是算牌场景居然比平淡的对话还乏味。最后算是完成自我救赎了吗？只要内心重获平静，无论身在何处。

除了男主长得很像卡纳瓦罗，一无是处。节奏缓慢，女配垃圾。音乐还行。
导演和音乐很不错，故事到后面有点崩，让我有些昏昏欲睡。
