The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 赶紧上映，就想看这乳华破片扑街
最值得一看的就是前半部分成家班风格满满的动作戏，与之后的神魔大战仿佛不是一个片子里的。争议点其实圆得挺好，但夹带私货没得洗，伪君子比真小人更让人不齿。电影的情感塑造一塌糊涂，恕我完全无法理解尚气想要弑父的动机逻辑。总结：看这片子不如回去多重温几遍成龙电影。
不是普通话说得标准，中文对白多，画面充满中国风，中国元素就能诠释得好。
就还是从西方角度叙事的典型漫威超英电影（the chosen one），服化道也是西式中国风（东亚混搭风），当然这些都没什么大问题，毕竟这本身就不是一个东方故事；接近一半的普通话台词是个挺好的体验，但更吹毛求疵一点，我会觉得说台词的语气有点太正式（有些像Siri）而缺乏情感，以及如果能加入方言（不少粤普、台普口音）会更接地气；开头前两场的打戏还是满惊艳的，太极的以柔克刚非常有表现力，刘思慕的打戏也挺不错的（希望他能和香港武指多练练）；梁朝伟最帅的时候，还是他颓废有胡渣的样子。
如果你是中国明星的审美觉得cast不行 我觉得可以试着挑战一下自己的习惯的审美去看这部片子 毕竟美丑没有标准 刘思慕就是你在三番街上碰到背着背包要去写码的亚裔那个样子 完全没有问题 而且再说了这个片真的很不错啊！元素的冲撞展现的不生硬 两边通吃 我觉得但凡是被中西文化都深深影响过的人应该都会被戳到吧
那些恶意打低分的赶紧滚吧球球，这片子绝对不止6.1分，单眼皮就是刻板印象???
总的来说就是恋爱脑父亲想救母亲结果被怪兽骗了，儿子和女儿以及小姨和一条龙一起杀怪兽，顺带儿子拿到了父亲的十个大圈
陳法拉和梁朝偉眉來眼去拳法後就生孩子了⋯⋯雖然好笑和想吐槽的地方不少，但覺得還蠻好看的哈哈哈
剧情很令人匪夷所思之外，老美还是对中国文化有些误解吧，但相比花木兰好多了。
比花木兰这种片子还是强点。能看出来漫威还是尽力地在迎合中国市场，做了很多努力。但是他们毕竟不是中国人，也只能靠堆砌元素的方式来表达他们心中的中国文化。主角选的也是符合他们审美的小眼睛高颧骨的长相。梁朝伟和陈法拉能生出这么丑的儿女不得气死了。梁朝伟这个反派倒是刻画的还可以，纯粹是为爱而变成了偏执狂，倒没了原著的邪恶元素。人家也不叫满大人，叫文武。可能这也是他接这部戏的原因吧，漫威也做了不少改编。至于整体的画面以及剧情，我觉得不比奇异博士这种片子差。但是因为舆论的压力，这部片子是不可能在国内上映的。
铁线拳、桃花源，故事内核陈腐无比，够请寻宝节目断代了，断一断是民国还是清晚，编剧是移民潮的遗老遗少，还是美国人对中国的刻板印象不容打破，虽然中文对白篇幅长，说的仍是侯老先生给模仿过的国语，这还是一部有代表性的美国电影。awkwafina的那种脸型才是木兰形象的原型。
最后男主的颜值确实有点..一言难尽啊。但是奥卡菲娜好可爱！
也许是花木兰给我造成的PTSD，感觉这部对于中国文化符号的诠释还是很到位的。功夫，竹林，神龙，世外桃源，这些是我们闻名世界的文化符号，我们应该尽力去拥抱他们。
虽是标准套路漫威系列电影，但让角色做到说中文，发音还挺标准，龙也不是坏东西了；形式上回忆部分采用了不可靠的叙述，不断展现真相；特效部分虽奇观式也很精彩，所以不让在国内上映，确实有些大可不必！梁朝伟是真老了，而且现在刘思慕身边好小只啊。陈法拉是真很恬静的那种美，除了有点缺乏记忆点外，真的不错。刘思慕确实有些发鳃，但身高与动作还是可圈可点的。奥菲卡娜女演谐星确实不容易，而且他演得越来越好，就是仪态需要注意一下。尚气的妹妹好飒啊，尤其澳门打斗那段，被吸引到了，确实比男主要有魅力，妹妹可以单独搞个电影！杨紫琼真是宝刀未老，太佩服了！我看到那个演员时我都惊呆了，那不是本金斯利吗？！我才发现中国人的世外桃源生活，不就是小国寡民的自给自足的小农生活吗？！
B. 依然是那套僵化的叙事模版，但漫威这次至少在用心庆祝中国文化——只不过诚意有余，能力有限。相比预告片灾难性的奇情乱炖，正片对细节的铺陈显著改善了观感，但只懂填鸭不懂留白的元素堆积，加上第三幕无节制的动作戏轰炸，仍然显得消化不良。事实上，用力过猛已经成为漫威的顽疾，而明明梁朝伟的一个眼神，就可以秒杀一切乒呤乓啷的闹剧。
梁朝伟的魅力就在于，明知道他是反派，你却希望他赢！
味道太冲了！公式化的超英电影，面面俱到的四不像，像是商业化的古城景区，迎合着游客的凝视。警惕！属于我们自身的文化认知可不要受其影响、歪曲。
我觉得还可以啊，打抖场面很牛逼。虽然文戏很拉胯，但是看漫威电影，谁看文戏啊。。。
最后是中国龙打败西方龙，挺政治正确的。
像真人版功夫熊猫，还是三部融合在一起的功夫熊猫。配乐出色打戏扎实，英语普通话交错也有点fresh off the boat的搭配感。如果这都是乳化那建议好莱坞可以放弃拍任何有关中国的电影，如果大陆电影院上映那一定会去影院再支持。
