The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 太乏味了，整体故事都提不上劲，像东木每一句台词的有气无力，仿佛都是仙气
西木老了，驯马那段明显是替身了，91岁的身子骨哪经得起马那么颠簸。剧情波澜不惊，细细品味回味无穷，生活哪有十全十美，找到自己最爱才是完美。所以最后他留在了墨西哥……谁在哭泣？那个被鸡打败了2次的人？
还以为东木这次仍然会为侠气牺牲 没想到只是温馨的小品
老爷子还是很自信啊，女人对他见一个爱一个...
牛仔老了 真的太不容易了 这么大岁数还在拍
电影确实平淡了点，但质量已经不重要了，只要看到他还健康，活跃在荧幕前就足够了。看到他踏入墨西哥服装店的那一瞬，我以为他会换上那套经典的装扮，只是，那个牛仔终究没有回来。
这是一个真善美的儿童片吧？片头的pure American country music 倒是不错啊。

故事创意是有意思的，但是情节主线也太冗长了，人物的动机在第一幕以后完全丢失，东木走的虽然仍旧是反类型片的塑造，但仍就是西部片的内核，一个英雄到达一个小镇改变了当地人并落寞孤独离开，只不过最后东木选择了回归小镇和西班牙女人重聚，但实在是乏善可陈。相比起导演天王山之作《不可饶恕》还是差强人意。不过还是希望老爷子可以一直拍下去·····

本来义无反顾一开场就准备给老爷子五星的，可是这次的故事和演员表现真的让人看不下去
