The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 导演试图通过此片来演绎津巴多在《路西法效應》一书中所揭示的“情景力量场域”及其阴暗心理，电影用相对软化的无限德州扑克赌局来替代伊拉克阿布葛拉伊布监狱中的那种场域，而男主角则是以一个耽溺于小赌养生的“创伤后自了汉”在被“唤醒”后一举卸下心防，克服魔障，自行判罚，剪除祸乱。
一气呵成的完美。突然就理解了isaac的自我流放，是因为他过去的被荣誉感与目标感所驱使和训练而成为了无我的工具，因此他的重新寻回与坚守，反而表现在日常的循环和淡然。

拍得煞有介事，但缺乏直指人心的力量。

当然男主一直叫女主甜心是我只想大叫职场性骚扰
好看。1.5倍速不用动脑子。过年拿来洗眼睛。
比较一般了，宅男可怜兮兮，男主卖卖肉，剧情和琼瑶剧差不多，整天都在你无理取闹。
3.5。片子细碎而冗长，弥漫着一种萧索的氛围，一如主角的心境。还以为是讲述一个天才的赌片，没想到最后是一个人的赎罪之旅。这种独立电影的气质略显沉闷却又莫名的引人入胜。大反派居然是威廉达福？
这个片真是尴尬与好笑并存，不过展现一下当代时尚生活，比如装修，还是值得肯定的
