The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 挪威湖边小屋黑色幽默版《史密斯夫妇》，也有几分最近大陆市场上的《不速来客》的剧本结构。婚姻中的倦怠和厌恶，现实困顿引发的杀气只是引子，结果一层一层不断发生神展开，因果律的正反合，每一段展开都伴随着闪回的找补，推动故事变奏、转向和重构，场面略有些血腥，片尾十分讽刺，曾经想要谋杀对方求得人生逆袭的初衷，最后因为这场飞来横祸意外解决，可谓“祸福相依”。
挪威语原声配成英语，配音有点怪怪的。估计是Netflix后续出钱来配的。其他都还行，看得人开心。3.8星.

哈哈哈欢乐B级片，血肉横飞又无厘头，关键时候还是女人和老人更靠得住啊~战斗到生命最后时刻的老爷爷很帅哈哈
糟糕的开局，但北欧电影人实力的体现就在于能沉得住气，后面故事叙事还是有板有眼的展开。即剧本完整度和最终展现度还是可以的。
