The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 近期恐怖片还剩《南巫》没看，看完温导作品后意外觉得本作整体还完整些。可惜表达主题上主次乱斗，作为增味剂的平权喧宾夺主，恐怖的部分细品也少些味道。食之无味，弃之可惜，确是道无特色的普通小菜。
带着点所有黑人为主角的电影都会讨论的种族问题，我还蛮喜欢皮影戏的表达，就是削弱了本就没多少的恐怖感

这是一部意图很明显的电影，残忍血腥的表面之下其实是美国黑人导演在坚持表达的主题和诉求，但除却之外便没有亮点；剧本给人的感觉是粗糙和模糊的，哪怕是基本的感官刺激也未能有层次地呈现给观众。两星。
