The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 男主角太拉了，反观素食主义者们，甚至比男主角更强，至少他们敢反抗。

还是法国人敢拍，这片在美国的政治环境下绝对拍不出来。对极端素食主义者的批判很犀利，还顺便把资本家、执法者、媒体和普通群众都黑了一把。作为一个间歇性吃素以修身养性者，看得很欢乐，并不觉得被冒犯。文化自由不就是这样吗？得让人敢说话。
动物世界那段蒙太奇很棒，电影里的极端素食主义非常吓人。
虽然很难再现原著复杂的精神状态和心理，已经是很优秀的改编了。
多年以来都感叹这么好的作品没人改编电影，看完本片才知道，改编难度之高真是匪夷所思。

冷门佳片，可以值4星。剧情架构和男主演技炸裂，影帝水准。
一部又恐怖又搞笑又变态又可爱又清新又重口的有趣电影。
还挺有趣的。黑色幽默呀，这个版本的翻译老是致敬黄秋生也是醉了。
