The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 借简奥斯丁的壳子讲了一个现代爱情故事。无论这是否是导演本意，但古今爱情的对比反而让我更清楚地看到了现代爱情故事的一些特点。当然还是做得太浅了。

这个版本的anne像是一个现代人，有种众人皆醉我独醒的感觉（如果她这么清醒，她当初还会没有主见被别人劝导做出那个决定吗？）。我理解的anne应该是个苦大仇深的姑娘，像sally hawkins那版
