The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 看男主打架、游泳的时候，都感觉看到他的灵魂在健身房里…
就是把哈姆雷特改编成北欧版，加上光膀子猛男互殴，爱情戏可以跳过
故事的宗教性不太了解,但是氛围至少拉满了,奥丁于女武神,各种祭祀主角神光附体,绝对是相当痛快!
故事复制莎士比亚的王子复仇记。阴郁的色调很用功。电影音乐也很亮。140分钟很冗长，减掉40分钟完全不影响剧情，或许能更加干练。我认为电影是拍给现代人看的，要共他们的情。

视听体验很好，又是那种边看边琢磨得有多难拍的片子。几段鼓点真是如同敲在我脑门上。有些片段能感觉是刻意加进去的，估计就是和studio打架完妥协的结果吧。作为改编算不错了，vikings神话感融入得挺好，但因为是Robert Eggers就会期待能有更具原创性的发挥。后三分之一反而疲软了些。Claes Bang叔叔真帅！

除了动作场面简陋了点，简直完美的大制作，充满神话、宿命的复仇故事再到纯粹人性的觉醒，这个最后一幕让故事其实脱离了王子复仇的窠臼，是个非常漂亮的升华。

但还是值得一看！
难得有一部完全没有黑人的欧美电影了。玩过《刺客信条·英灵殿》的表示，各方面真的很还原。
