掀开历史上的黑暗章节，监视与被监视，伪装与拆下伪装。角色经历的心态变化与暗处波云诡谲般的对抗，借由主演出色的演绎变得异常生动（并且弥补了节奏拖沓的毛病）；许多近景的给予也都在渲染这份窒息。没有高能转折，也并非激烈对峙；即使并不了解（或是知道）原型故事的来源，铁幕之下的风云变幻依然可以从中充分的感受- -可参考为更为冷静的《气球》。
