The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 演的真好。大事件下小个体的挣扎，制度框架下的个人选择，有对抗也有无奈。抛开疫情，这个故事其实也可以成立。

疫情下每个国家的运行方式都是一样的，为了阶级利益，关于生命的一切已经不再重要，但还好偶尔也会有好人在。噢对了，至少一些国家能把这些拍出来，而另一些国家连拍都不行

一件塑料薄膜衣就是防护服，没有护目镜、面罩，只是简单的口罩和手套，也没有消杀，对于新冠的防护和医疗系统，跟中国相比简直就是一个在天上，一个地下。在这样的环境下，再加上疫情的影响，人们也逐渐麻木，丧失良知，真的太让人绝望和崩溃了。疗养院从一个温暖的大家庭变成了一座冰冷的牢房。
医疗体系被击溃的时候，人类的生命和尊严会远远比影片中来得残酷吧。Jodie的口音真的好奶～

看到的第一部关于新冠的剧情电影，比新闻更直观地感受护理人员的痛。
不是只有胜利的战役才值得出现在影视作品中，疫情正在消磨这个世界的所有人，我们遭受的无力与痛苦都是真实存在的，都是值得记录的。
导演的伟大不止在于抨击新冠疫情，还反映了弱势群体被冷漠抛弃的必然。
