The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 这才是音乐剧，有好故事有好音乐有好表演，开大巴的那段动作非常逼真。

第一看这种类型的音乐剧，没有经典音乐剧耳熟能详、令人心潮澎湃的唱段，也没有《汉密尔顿》《Six》那样流行得抓耳又抓眼，扣准现代大众审美，相比之下它的故事铺开得有点平淡写实，但这样的节奏和画面又并不无趣。

看前半个小时的时候感觉特别惊艳，后面渐渐就有些腻乏了
二刷才感到Something's Missing才是题眼，灾难的痛苦不会因善意而模糊。
疫情看真的太应景了。黑暗中才更能看到善意的光。太温暖了。
同样是救灾，同样是绝望，同样是与世隔绝，但纽芬兰让人像个人
甘德的故事大概就是地球村的美好幻想吧
