看这部电影时想起了李安的《喜宴》，都是关于同性恋结婚的故事，这种不同的处理手段也展现了两个国家对待同性恋的态度。印度18年以前同性恋是一种违法行为，18年之后，虽然不至于同性恋婚姻合法，但不再是违法行为了，这对同性恋群体来说是一大进步，至少从国家层面来说，看到了这个大群体。而对我国而言，法律并没有明文规定同性行为犯法，但也不意味着不犯法，因为法律从没涉及到同性恋的问题，就好像电影中处理的那样，没有点明就等于没有这回事。对同性恋法律上的装聋作哑也让这个群体在现实中仿佛穿上了隐身衣，很少听见他们的发声，也很少看到他们的身影。
