The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 啊….除了主线其他都很好，速水奖！！！不想画肏可以不画（救命呀）…跳完舞怎么喘成这样跟游了八百米一样腿还软了，高人不应该这样走过去的啊…阿就怎么路子这么野，旁边没人吗，高人同意吗啊啊…突然就救赎了准太是这个设定吗啊啊…边看边叫

作为游戏改，电影算很成功。如果做为独立电影来看，剧本相对来说就太套路了。或者可以这么说，剧情什么的都是配菜，真人表演吃鸡才是主角，镜头和动作的捕捉上，感觉还原度很高，冲着这个来看，电影很不成。还不错...
但优点也是突出的，值得一说，睡个觉起来再写长文吧。
被片名吸引 看完发现剧情还蛮可爱的 男女主的颜值也好搭哦
电影整体还是挺流畅的。动作戏部分完成度较高。但是文戏部分实在太罗嗦太拖沓了。现在这个年代，像这种又臭又长的拍法，不可能还会有人喜欢看了。感情戏实在太老套了，早都是三十年前就淘汰的桥段。看的令人太烦了。总体值三颗星。我觉得很客观。小演员的表演很出色，是加分项。
比TV难看多了，在电影院睡着了。舞蹈题材非要搬上大荧幕，完全就是暴露制作的不足。给三星真的是为了爱

其次，女二对女主的爱毫无来由，女主一直在断药和家庭困境之间疲于奔命，没有表现出任何能吸引人爱意的特质。出场时永远像一只被汽车大灯直射的鹿，神情慌乱、六神无主、焦躁不安，看的时候几次停下来透气。

怎么说。还是甜甜的一对。一点误会之后的敞开心扉。有点想看副cp。人设好带感。
说实话，这个特别篇故事并不好看，外加的西班牙舞设定真的很尴尬。本来还觉得新人物欧吉桑蛮有魅力的，但是！加入邻家boy暗恋欧吉桑这个桥段不觉得很怪吗！？全片看完最让我意犹未尽的居然是制作人和大音乐家的暗线，我就问这个什么时候单独做个番外，我想看！
