The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     美好的肉体就是值钱的。这既是现实，又充满了政治不正确。金钱与肉体买卖又怎么可能搭建出平等的对话关系呢，所以这更多只是以一种"理想型"案例在探讨人的欲望、快感、自我接纳及亲密关系等重要话题。而最后的坦诚相见，其实有点shock，因为我们可能甚至于，面对自己都尚未如此直白真诚。两个角色都不是现实主义的角色，也许他们更适合作为一种容器，映射，供我们观想自身，去体悟细微。如果纠结于角色和关系本身的合理性，可能就很难进入这部电影了吧。
