The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 归隐枪手露峥嵘，神目如电辨恶善。
演员演的不错，后面枪战可以安排的巧妙合理一点，老头第一次出门面对一大群人马隔得又不远居然可以不利索的退回屋里，那一群人也是职业枪手稍微尊重下他们的职业好吧。
有感情，但太少了。缺少英雄暮年的悲情，突兀地被杀像是被强加给的悲剧，而不是不可饶恕那样出于自身的迟暮，自然而然的悲情。
其实他不应该相信别人，不应该被动，然而他住下来后，就已经选择了相信，选择了被动，这是宿命……
小家子气的，或者你可以称为内敛的，一部对八十年代西部片的印刻。

比利小子有多传奇？据说有他的一张老照片估值500万美金，是一个男人花了2美金在旧货店买的！
当传奇突然露出来的时候，就是这片子价值四星的那一刻，不然这片子真的很平淡，剧情一眼看透，故事单薄，对话苍白。
竟然是比利小子，英雄迟暮永远是个值得表达的题材
很好的故事设计，既延续了传奇（或重新演绎了传奇），又隐喻了现实，一举两得。决战场面的设计很精彩，结尾的反转也恰到好处。近年来难得好看的西部片。

西部片只要说比利小子，就像是武术片讲黄飞鸿一样，这是热评的大神说的，一了解。这个改编90几次的故事原型，在本片，是个老套的枭雄迟暮的故事，终究尘归尘土归土，其子踏上新的一轮生活。
简单的剧情，简单的拔枪战斗，一切都中规中矩
