The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 血海翻腾到白浪翻涌，一段漫长且凄美的乐章发出最后的悲鸣与哀叹，是永别亦是旅程的最后终点。时隔20余年，庵野有了充足经费，牟足了劲尽情挥洒，依然用它神学般的艺术展现力表达EVA的抽象性和延展性，带着执念，无论结局如何我全盘接受。

依旧废柴了1/3时间的男主，突然大彻大悟变成清醒且成长的模样，接着我惊讶（没有惊喜）地发现，原来男主的巨婴颓废自私中二，都完美继承其父亲。
TV26：“应该也有不是EVA驾驶员的我，这样去想的话，这个现实世界也不一定是不好的。”
人物塑造和心里成长都描写出来了，世界观也讲的很明白，而且在那么多年之后技术更加成熟，特效更加耀眼，给这十几年的EVA新剧场版画了一个完美的句号。
明日香，绫波，美里，司令，大家都与过去的自己和解了。真嗣长大了。我也是。"永别了，所有的Evangelion。"

最后长大的居然是我，我整个为之狂热的夜晚和过去仿佛在一瞬间结束了。如果可以，我还可以等下一个漫长的每一年。

关于成长。 跟每一个朋友告别，希望他们幸福，碇真嗣终于长大了。荧幕外的自己也长大了，从第一部时不喜欢眼镜女，到最后也接受了眼镜女的存在。 最终生活在了没有EVA的普通世界（类似我们的宇宙），也不知道是好还是不好…… #三维量很大，感觉以后可以出三维动画版。
今年日本这个情况看EVA圆满收官莫名讽刺，也不晓得砸了这么多钱有没有收回成本，反正庵野秀明自己是毕业了，让我们一起来骂他。
大家都不需要被补完 勇敢去依靠别人吧！！

已经和当年的EVA没有任何关系了，连狗尾续貂都谈不上，做作的毫无动机的自我伤感实在令人作呕。
Perhaps not the best Evangelion film that could be made, but possibly the best way Evangelion could end. さようなら，すべてのエヴァンゲリオン。
