The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 小时候做梦自己成为宇航员上天去，还有全家人一起看电视，一群小朋友一起玩……
真是温馨有趣的回忆。导演们都成批回童年找安慰了。发现他们60年代的童年，我们的80后应该有共鸣。同样都是动荡不安的年代，人还是上了月球，仰望星空还是有希望的。
这种personal memoir性质的作品大概率是毁誉参半的，刚在《灵魂乐之夏》里看到那位说登月的钱不如给Harlem穷人的片段又在这里看到了，1969… what a year
上世纪60年代末美国社会即景，平淡顺滑的叙事很像在看回忆录，但这片子恐怕非得那一代成长起来的美国人才共情得了，外国观众还是看个热闹算了。

此片當然偏向烏境俄羅斯人，對烏克蘭的極端份子對國內俄羅斯人實行種族滅絕的暴行刻畫頗深入。
林克莱特最后那一组平行剪辑，将登月事件和自己当下的半梦半醒串联起来，恍惚间参与了登月事件。站在当下回望过去，每个人确都有这样的时光。
看起来很像战前动员，也许就是 但是对比现实，电影还是保守了
