The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 修复后的效果真棒。国共日三方情报战，主要精神是反对投降的民族主义，适合当下的宣传任务。孙道临的表演远比其他人松弛，特别像吴京在当下主旋律中的松弛状态，长相也像。
彩色修复观影，反观现在国内的主旋律电影甚至是所有电影都缺少了一种真诚，一种发自内心的真诚，一种骨子里的真诚。愿电波永不消逝。
研究生毕业的时候写的王苹的导演艺术，那时候的学习很懵懂，但是王苹的作品感动了我，她的作品漂漂亮亮，人物有情感、有层次。这么多年后看修复和彩色版，觉得主角配角都鲜明，尤其是两位配角还有着30年代上海滩的特制，过瘾。
白小姐送蛋糕，那霞飞路上公寓公园春光至今还印在脑海。女特务柳妮娜是一代少年黑白银幕上的性感启蒙。单眼皮国字脸帅酷的王心刚也只好为孙道临配配戏。关键时代气息贯通，人情世故与演员天性气质相融，一切导向最后，向延安按出诀别电码一幕，才够震荡心灵。
高潮变乏味，格局一升瞬间觉得，腻了。

孙道临的英俊让我突然想起格里高利派克，除了有些语言听起来别扭，60多年前的看电影还真是出人意料的好看，致敬
因为评分7+，所以我的期待还是有点过高了。。。去掉那些完全没必要装的逼，这部电影控制在两个小时出头大概会比较好看吧。虽然我还是很喜欢安迪瑟金斯的，但是这个阿福不对味啊！！！蝙蝠侠非得是黑眼圈干啥呀？？？
虽然视听让人惊艳，无奈故事不值得三个小时的长度。看得出导演想探索超英片的新拍法，却还是未能跳出既有的框架。魔幻的哥谭，炫酷的蝙蝠侠，都让我着迷，但都和“新”没有关系。
在影片完成60年后才看的这部电影，结尾让整部电影感情升华，成为经典。

3.5 初出茅庐的蝙蝠侠很酷 视听太爱了 仅此 导演稍显收敛 作为悬疑片不够悬疑 只能说挺"谜语" 很写实但人物不是很深刻 大家太希望DC好了 so 也不是只要不fun就是神 总的说还是偏粉丝向 时长过长...
古典老派的黑色电影，沉稳持重但是一气呵成的畅快体验——当然高潮部分处理得有点拉，至少对于一部商业片来说不应该就这么点。整部电影里蝙蝠侠话并不多，全靠镜头语言和表演来表现他的内心世界，也没有滥用冷笑话频繁打断叙事，使得观众沉浸其中，非常的cinema，非常deep dark fantasy。影片对于哥谭市的环境设计也是一绝，破败颓废、腐败滋生，历届客留下了痕迹，使得非常可信。导演也很懂怎么让蝙蝠侠装逼，动作戏不多但是含金量很高，该爽的时候爽，该装逼的时候装逼，观看门槛也不高。真的是这几年看过的数一数二👍的优质商业片啊。（感谢北票吧吧主的电影票）
用冷硬的外壳武装敏感的内在，顶着夜幕游走在穷街陋巷，抓住风中摇曳的线索揪出一张庞大的犯罪关系网，最终将幕后主使斩草除根。虽然这一版蝙蝠侠在主旨上没有多少新意，但这种复古黑色侦探故事的呈现很对我口味

救命终于看到罗帕蝙了我已经死了，好喜欢，这就是我最喜欢的蝙蝠侠了(꒦ິ⌑꒦ີ)用涅槃的《Something In The Way》作为主要旋律真是太对味了……（想看 2021-02-02呜呜呜再看不到罗帕蝙我就要死了）
跟爸妈看。以前的电影节奏和现在确实不一样，前面有点拖沓，结局又一死了之，照现在估计还会表现一下妻儿境遇，坟前祭祀之类的。看的时候忍不住想起《潜伏》，不过后来居上总是会更合理一些，本片的地下桥段还是太简单太主题先行了，人物关系发展也粗糙，比如两人的爱情发展到生孩子。反派极其无脑脸谱化，说一口中式日语，比《平原游击队》做的差太多。目前7.8的评分是合理的。PS：孙道临这里跟《麻雀》里完全不同，真是好演员，就是秃的有点突然^_^查了下李白烈士的生平，感觉比电影更加传奇和感人，比如改装收音机逃过日本专家检查，被捕后的遭遇等。天要亮了，但英雄却倒在了上海解放20天前，谢谢一代传薪者。
