The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 艺术门类大融合的流媒体年代，更能看出各门艺术类型独立存在的意义。某种跨界的“壁”，不是调试视听语言、精简叙事节奏就能轻松突破的——更何况，如这般自信的“创作者”所钟爱的，就是用所谓原汁原味的懒惰挑战双边的水准。
不错的音乐剧，虽然不如《爱乐》，惊讶于加菲的表演，竟然唱得这么好~
艺术家的半自传式音乐剧，节奏与嵌套的结构挺有趣，连对音乐不很敏感的我都不觉得很闷。
看到片尾那些乔纳森当年的片段 才发现加菲是真的好像他 导演为同志角色平添的颜色很闪耀 那竟是真正打动我的部分
不错啊，不过可能更多才华来自原版音乐剧？加菲我觉得演的很好，艺术家的癫狂，还有一点可爱。不要看到一点不太写实的表演就说演的太过，是适配电影风格的。
确实有被狠狠的打动到，加菲的表演增色很多。个人觉得音乐剧与电影的融合很好，当然因此也能想象到批评者们的矛头一定是指向与音乐对影像的侵占，但全片最艺术化最棒的部分依然是影像化的——游泳池里的五线谱太美了。
又一个Here's to the Fools who Dream，创意产业劝退片，其它行业毕业一直失业又何尝没有共鸣。简单的Teenpop rock和简单的主题、诉求和挣扎，但确实是林曼米三部剧唯一好听的，台上台下剧里剧外的承接也是少有的流畅自然，也真的受不了再看一遍

最好玩的是那段去广告公司做研究小组赚外快。-I don’t understand how u can take any of this seriously. -because they pay me. -money isn’t everything. -Well it doesn’t hurt. -are u sure about that?

我毫无疑问地热爱，赞美LMM，加菲和Rent。但是对我而言差了一口气，作为“颇受赞誉的冲奥电影”。但是可以作为“看完Rent之后了解作者的其他作品的电影，btw导演是LMM还有很多大咖客串”。
30岁前夕同样焦虑过，过了也就没感觉了。不太喜欢这种剪辑凌乱、直白抒情的风格，无法沉浸，但确实看得出才华横溢
剧中剧复杂结构，音乐一首一首不断交集颂唱而出。

还是鸡皮疙瘩直起的~~虽然知道还是真人加持的魅力~~~音乐本身的魅力~~~不管怎样电影要拍要记录下这些~~~很重要~~
虽然是传记片但也把焦距Jonathan个人的视角扩大到所有的创作者的痛苦。swing and a miss, swing and a miss, till you hit.
come to your senses的后劲太大了，电影看完后一直记着这首歌。还有，要去看Rent！

卡着ddl写歌面临的各种窘境，有点阅历的社畜都会共情…… 加菲演得太好削弱了一些音乐剧改编的舞台感，双线音乐会结构LMM掌控得也不错，游泳池的设计蛮绝
