The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 中年躁郁症大叔的二三事。（世间什么事物永不过时？答：Leo叔的脸。曾经的小鲜肉已经有皱纹了，但每一道皱纹都那么美。）
题材是我喜欢的款，但这属于文本不错，但影像特别没感觉的那种电影吧。
每次遇到自我的矛盾，克制情绪，爆发，都会选择逃避，却也渴望亲密的关系。

介于好与坏之间的电影…… 对柳叔的表演感到遗憾 不是说演的不好 而是确实这几年接的角色有点同质化 中年人混乱而又无奈的人生演得很好 但也想看柳叔别的表现。 刘镇的角色如果是高中时的我应该会很喜欢吧？但现在 全部看下来对和男主前妻在一块的有点软弱的出版社长最喜欢 因为这才是见得到的可爱普通人。其他人可爱吗？也可爱 但有点和生活较劲了 看着累。 片尾曲很适合这部电影！
浮华生活下尽是空虚寂寞与痛苦，想握住所有的爱却在不断失去怎么也握不住，嗑药酒精性长伴于身，虽能麻痹自己却难以支撑。最后才发现一切源自童年的阴影，幼年的伤疤一直延伸到成年之后，难以和解，处处破碎。又是一部那种看完要抑郁一阵子的电影，实在是太难受了！
演员卖力演出，故事却很松散，在同性题材上没有太多过人之处。
南美版的“叔叔”，面对的社会束缚也许更少，但终极的问题，大家都是一样的。
配乐很不错。
