The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? Good movie to bring is truth and reality.
谁来管底层人们呢，谁去为那些露宿街头的人难过，基础保障太提现一个国家的治理水平了。朱迪就是那个无助的人，演技无声无息地侵入角色本体，封神了。
一个小故事，一个平凡人，切入点特别好，故事讲的很清楚

最后片尾的自白更是对所有人的叩问：
新冠疫情下，英国政府对私人疗养院和护理机构的忽视，以及对英国nhs体制的抨击。就像最后莎拉在警车上说，什么时候我们变得不再平等了？中间那段莎拉深夜照顾病人的长镜头展现了朱迪的演技！
镜头语言很简单朴实，仿佛纪录片，但那种压抑窒息和无力感却贯穿全程，当然也得益于啾迪超棒的演技，向所有无私奉献的护工致敬！
本片对个体在公共突发事件中的努力和无力感刻画的十分真实，一个普通人尽全力去挽救另一个普通人的生命，天亮以后就是下班回家而已，没有高光时刻没有英雄光环，这才是存在于我们身边的日常。
