The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 神明存在于电影的每一帧之间，也存在于每一个热爱电影的人心中。
新冠的戏份过于生硬和无聊，这种强行加入的情节，让人感觉太过于游离，但即使没有这些，这剧情也都是跟梦游一样，一会儿天上一会儿地下的毫无逻辑和过度，为了推动情节而强行的硬掰，实在看不出这是个老导演的作品，这想问山田洋次：廉颇老矣，尚能饭否？

看着某个刻薄的短评，感觉像来自于松竹片场的某个愤怒老导演的中国亲戚，这种自以为是和这部电影的精神的对比非常有趣

“要做电影的都不是什么正经人”这句真是全场都笑了。
昭和组全员可爱 没有认出野田洋次郎 感觉是一部因为疫情少了很多情节的剧 所以苏打最后做个编剧不是挺好 看的时候又哭又笑但看完确实也没记得些什么 淑子老了之后性格跟之前差太多了吧
劇情不出彩 依舊為日式誇張演技和女性角色隱忍設定 不過還是被感動的一塌糊塗…
最后一幕泪崩！当你专注地看着你热爱的方向，就会看到神的身影，招手让你远离悬崖。
无语……老套的故事，敷衍的人物塑造，yy式的女性角色，套个电影情怀，一些人就开始自我拔高了
天哪…居然能把这样的题材拍得又尬又没意思，其中关于整个片子核心——电影相关的致敬也少之又少，显得电影这个主题仿佛随便置换成其他主题也没什么影响。明明这么一个关于如何在暮年实现往昔梦想、弥补过错的故事怎么拍都很容易打动人心，看在洋次郎和苏打贡献主题曲的份上勉强给个合格分。
