The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 爵士春秋的自述融合爱乐之城的切出切入，音乐剧歌曲还是蛮好听，歌词内容比较脱口秀。

wb上有人发了一条《爱乐之城》的石头姐遇见《倒数时刻》的加菲，还有人发了一条超凡蜘蛛加菲遇见平行宇宙Spider-Woman Gwen，感觉吃了双份的过期玻璃渣狗粮...............
毫无亮点。加菲的表演很卖力，但给人的感觉更像是自我感动。
最大问题是没有拍出这个人物的特殊性和独特魅力，反而拍的更像一个纯虚构的励志故事，这是最大的遗憾。
又是那种把后台故事搬上前台的歌舞片，有剧情起伏有人物成长弧光，爱情友情一应俱全，就是没说清楚作者的创作困境和突破到底是为了啥，可说是有形无神。全片的歌除了关键性的那一首之外基本都没法听。

动画之于电影，电影之于音乐剧——绝对是利大于弊。另外很喜欢他朋友的段落，激发灵感、激发情感、激发问题，而问题恰是死亡无法掩盖之物的答案。不过影片的音乐（尤其前半部分）不是我菜。P.S. 加菲从头含泪至尾，心疼了心疼了。
把本身的情节和Jon剖白式的独角戏交织，让叙事更加完整，也将属于舞台和电影的东西独立开来，使二者的存在与交融显得更加和谐，加菲的演绎也让其中那些创作者的挣扎与坚持，显得分外动人。

工整到乏味的电影，歌也完全无感，加菲表演得太夸张，即使是真实事件改编我也完全无法共情。我一直在猜测，也许这是一部科幻片，《傲慢》的故事变成了现实，“倒数时刻”指的是世界末日，他没有时间了，因为再写不出好歌来地球就要爆炸了……好吧，是我想多了
加菲演的John像一只癫狂又脆弱的小鹿，有着诗人般的浪漫和无尽的哀伤与喜悦。过去的种种时光，纵然潦倒憔悴，纵然惴惴不安，但它们仍能为人生漫漫长夜留下最璀璨的划痕。尽管生命注定消逝，尽管倒数的滴答声一直响彻脑海，还是要抓紧一切时间去生活去体会去感受。
一开场Jon Larson介绍自己是音乐剧编剧时声称one of the last my species，到如今LMM把他的故事搬上银幕，this movie is a love letter from one Musical-theater writer to another.
同为LMM的作品，比起《In the Heights》，我更喜欢这部（好多重合的演员），不仅剧情跟紧凑，歌曲也更好，加菲的表演很加分。ITH中只有一首印象深刻的歌，这部则太多了，最喜欢的还是Therapy，特别是歌词，笑死我了：I'm saying I feel bad, that you feel bad；About me feeling bad, about you feeling bad；About what I said, about what you said；About me not being able to share a feeling。
初心已死，热血难赴，仅此而已。
