和香港黑帮电影相比，这部电影缺少一点兄弟情义，多了一点英雄主义，缺少一点帮派单纯火拼的恩怨情仇，多了一点尔虞我诈。
再次，怪鸟宝宝的样子又萌又可爱，那双大眼睛像《指环王》中的咕噜姆。很恶心的就是怪鸟宝宝只吃女主的呕吐物，为了喂养怪物，女主每次都要呕吐。还有，怪物开始不断趋同女主，顺从女主的黑暗心理开始为非作歹，直到完全取代女主。
