The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 有赖于行云流水的人物与叙事切换，影片摆脱了母爱题材的刻意煽情或运动员光环，平实镜头下是向内触摸苏桦伟母子在生活中的踉跄。没有豪言壮举，却尽是被现实生活追逐的无奈。呼吁同工同酬、残疾家庭困境、冠军窘迫生计等社会问题的介入，使镜头探向母爱或运动之外，打破唯金牌论，揭示来自社会制度的捆绑，透视再多的金牌也无法拯救真实的贫穷，成为运动题材的破局之作。

题材很不错，剧本扎实一下就好了，很多情节都硬拗

音乐铺太满了。对于这个故事来说，煽情感动并不难，问题在于如何克制 2.5

看之前以为是妈妈激励孩子拿冠军的故事，原来是拿了冠军之后依然一地鸡毛的故事
2006年，蘇樺偉的故事就拍成过人物传记剧情片电影《12秒58》，蘇樺偉本人片中出演成人的自己，剧情讲到2000年悉尼残奥会夺下3金🏅️为结尾戏剧高潮。
运动员的光辉是一时的，要走的路却是一辈子的。
虽然由中影参与投拍，但是本片没有让主角去为国争光，甚至在奥运会场，香港区旗都是经常和英国国旗在一起，足见给主创团队的自由度。故事本身是个好故事，演员们模仿残障人士非常像，但拍摄手法比较粗糙老套。
运动员退役后生活无保障，残疾运动员不受重视，当下依然是值得关注的焦点问题。苏桦伟的故事令人动容，他就像一面镜子，照出了许多为国争光的运动员的困境。过于煽情的设定，几个人物故事冲突不了了之，我觉得不太好。
PS：国语配音实在太违和了，和人物的悬浮感很明显。
“你残疾是天生的没有人会怪你，大家都会怪我。”母亲是更伟大的。
典型的港式温情。
