A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.
形式做到满了，非常非常有诚意。然而坐在今日的时代，确实难言这是我最今年喜欢的电影，说是文艺片但表达逻辑却是商业的。我大概期望看到跟个体有关的，最直接的电影。似乎在写人，其实却是在写戏。
不是DC粉也看的一本满足！求求给小闪安排个单人电影吧，孩子这么可爱。四小时看下来完全不累，甚至想再继续看下去，值得N刷。华纳你为什么不给拍续集了啊，你没有心。
#SGIFF2021# 真的是很妙，用舞台的形式却能表现这么丰富的故事，还以牛头马面带着走黄泉路来展开，导演还是很有想法的。确实从故事脉络上跟《霸王别姬》有些神似。小小缺点是还是太长了，而且前后半部分风格其实稍微有些割裂。
把故事完整的说出来，才会在转折的时候显得合理，人物也丰富了起来，那种超级英雄的宿命感也凸现了出来。四个小时看完觉着也不是很长。
老旧又笨重的手艺活，愿意看就愿意一直演下去。看完觉得我们的近代史确实是没有出路。
如果当年上的是这个版本，是不是没复联什么事了？
如果说这个版本一定要说明了什么,那只能是说明了北美电影分级制度很大程度地阻碍了电影的发展. 扎克施耐德十几年一直都在用拍MV短片的方法来拍电影,毫无长进.
也许是预期过高，看完略有落空…. 似乎好与坏都是一体两面，一方面感到对于这样的题材，在有限预算下，创作者很天才地找到了最适合的形式，蛮喜欢年幼的邱福酒后飞天，扇子遮镜两段；但另一面似乎形式的外力过强，遮蔽了真正的情感入口，后半段信息给的平铺直叙，有种只是在陈述一段过往的隔绝感。此外一切新鲜的设计果然都会在三小时时长里泄力与疲乏起来…….
三个小时的片长完全无知无觉，毕竟三个小时里竟搭出了个近代史舞台。但历史又不过是一块幕布，一场迷烟，活色生香的始终是人的江湖。四川话太好听了，太生动了，像一尾活鱼在江湖里来回翻腾，连带把历史悚然的细部也搅动出荒唐的喜感。同去看电影的朋友感慨说，“看来……不是中国电影不行。”我用力点头。那到底是什么不行呢？这是不能说的。很遗憾很难有更多人看到这部电影了，甚至连我们看电影的影院位置，都是不能说的。
由于影片还挺长，所以需要一定的耐心才能看完。首先形式上的新奇之处就不多做评价，觉得最神之处是驼背用照相机看来看去和结尾人人在喝孟婆汤忘却往生。- Filmfest München 25.06.2022
乔斯韦登也不容易，其实他临危受命改片子能剪成四年前那样也很厉害了。
跟《守望者》压根不是一个级别的作品，千万别放一起说深度。任何把它捧上天或者贬的一无是处的评论都是不客观的，只能说没17年那样臭不可闻了（但被粉丝喷的要死的笑点并没有删啊），主线不还是一模一样？钢骨戏份超重，甚至可以说是一部《钢骨起源》+一部《正义联盟》。动作戏确实有了质的飞跃，超人这个角色的复活有点过于功能化了，从剧作角度来看完全就是为了最后打架，缺了那么点有血有肉有感情的塑造（也是亨超一直以来被诟病的地方吧）。达克赛德一出场就被宙斯们锤的生活不能自理有点太丢面子了吧！

前有复联珠玉在前，威登版先入为主，施耐德拍这片子实在难，要从一堆威登没用过的不咋样的素材里面掏好货，再补拍，再润色，超越是不可能超越的，能把故事说圆了并且说得有自己的风格，就算及格了，这片子勉强有做到。
退一步，导剪运动以及与之相关的一切声音举措，意义早已超出影片实际水准。三年波澜终于收尾。一场创作与现实联动的吊诡罗生门。

"新戏从来话旧事”，一句话非但不指向新生，反而给大陆电影下了死刑判决，仿佛第五代的阴霾还不够窒息，第五代的叛变不够近在眼前，仿佛重写历史仍然是唯一的出路，而我们的观众又究竟要沉迷于陈旧的集体叙事，沉迷于咀嚼和反刍一成不变的窝囊到几时？导演的风格无疑是成熟且自洽的，但或许正是因为太自洽了，他和自己的世界一样一劳永逸地活在了阴间，不需要质疑自己在说什么，拍到了什么，他的人物又意味着什么：场面调度成了唯一的内容，但可供调度的素材又是几乎不存在的，因为从一开始这就是一个人的游戏。 A New Old Play演的究竟是什么戏？一个中国文人一脉相承的春秋大梦：想用一个集体叙事盖过另一个，最终发现无非还是同一个。
手绘背景与手工道具，以川剧团演员为故事线，串联起从二、三十年代到文革后期的长篇历史画卷。极其写意的抗战，在牛头马面拉人过程中描述国共斗争，延续从《痴》延续的美学风格。鸡脚神，驼儿，太子菩萨，牛头马面等意向化的人物，增加了很多趣味性和解读性。 看字幕的时候，演员和工作人员是同一批人，不由得让我泪目，感谢自己和朋友们曾经参与了制作，大家都太不容易了！
早上起来用个黄金上午把这片看完也是对得起我对这个导演剪辑版期待的时光。但看完也不忍心给差评，所以给出总结
