The Northman延续了Robert Eggers鲜明诡异的个人色彩，强烈且步步为营的原声带，触动信仰的摄影和美术设计，还有无限次惊艳全场的Anya Taylor-Joy，无一不给这魔幻现实史诗加分。
文艺片导演拍大制作总是容易崴脚，这部算是新瓶装旧酒了，一切形式化的东西都是加分项，文本比较老派。
玩过《刺客信条：英灵殿》，倍感亲切。
核心主题还算有点新意，并非传统意义上的复仇，而是人性层面上的释放，比如母亲诠释为因不爱、因追求自己的爱而恨，处理得非常自然，知晓真相后主角复仇动机则转变为对自己过去与价值的捍卫。可惜由于叙事规模较前作更加复杂，导演没能把精力集中在一贯擅长的人物关系演化上，却沉浸在毫无意义的心理描画式梦呓宣泄与关注点分散的叙事中，结果就有了这副拖沓无趣的四不像模样。

观看过程中我心说这抓玛的莎士比亚风咋这么熟悉呢，合着是<灯塔>导演作品，得~啥也不(裂)说(开)了

妮可·基德曼的表演可以封神。剧情和亚历山大的表演中规中矩，但还是有亮点。安雅反正又像在拍画报。
又一部沉迷于神话影像氛围而内容空洞乏味的形式之作，这类作品的现代文化价值几近于无。
虽然对这种古典戏剧新改体裁+北欧神话史诗题材不太感冒，但视听还是强大到撑得起140分钟，这梦幻卡司也是极其捧场，Eggers感觉要火。
愚蠢俗气野蛮再加上宿命论，几乎集齐了所有我讨厌的元素，看得我如坐针毡。又浪费我人生里的两小时。
很难被娱乐到，尤其是看完权游《血色婚礼》和二丫复仇后。
