The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 3.5/5 虽然不喜欢本片将解剖粘腻的器官称为艺术的表达，将手术视为新型性爱的概念，将内部器官的形态作为“内在美”的评判对象，但看完还是忍不住想说“这是一部很酷的电影”。黑夜里二人交谈时背部反射着黄光——亦正亦邪，为了“使人类获得幸福”这一使命而“奋斗”的人，真的是在前进而不是在开倒车吗？
手术是新的性爱，吃塑料是新的反抗，打开自己是老一辈的艺术家。
探讨科技，艺术和道德边界的矛盾，主题创意还不错，但是很多人物动机我没太看懂？ 主角卧底改造人世界结果最后自己变成改造人了？克里斯丁在里面的戏很迷，她到底是干什么的。

基本上是柯南伯格作为艺术家的自画像，理清了他的创世架构，也就大概能理解导演想说什么，最后一滴泪是艺术家的受难也是救赎

A desire to be open（想到看性谎言录像带时的那种想被割开的欲望
看得困死了，好一剂催眠良药，再也不愁失眠了。柯南堡底线也太高了，还不如尼克病院手术台更有观赏性，以至掉进碎碎念的无聊洞底。高概念走得停稳的，内在逻辑也没什么太多问题。只是影片就像发达的右臂，左臂却肌无力。柯南堡可以比疯提尔再疯点儿就有意思了。
今天第五部，临近午夜、身体不适，但依然聚精会神地看完。还是牛，但略低于预期。
像是一场细腻而丰富的前戏之后，进行了一场味同嚼蜡且转瞬即逝的性生活，并且伴随着诡异的古典音乐。
