The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 在俄乌持续冲突的背景下看的，永远不要低估俄罗斯的实力、勇气和决心。结尾孩子在漫天纸飞机飞舞下表决心的情景，让人泪目。整部片子战斗场面太少，没看过瘾。
还是挺喜欢的。看很多评论说剧情拖沓，我倒是觉得有这些文戏才让这部电影充实饱满。军人不只是战争机器，军人也是人，有情感有信仰，有家国情怀。

如果是我，可能在45岁最后一次机会为了家庭选择做民航机长了，前半生为了国家，后半生为了家庭，没欠什么也完全没毛病。话说，男主老婆年轻时候也太美了。

剧情拖沓，叙事节奏慢，而且故事内容跟片名感觉不符，这个电影只有一处高潮，而且也没那么久，导演想表达的东西太多结果啥也没表达好，对于一部战争片来说文戏真的不要太多为好！好在场面调度还不错，一些武器很亮眼！

穿插着描述了男主的人生经历和与妻子相识的整个过程，好处是讲了人物背景，更丰富，缺点就是看起来缺少紧张感，不够紧凑
