The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 剧情好诡异啊……为了让男主显得不那么变态就给小女孩创作了一对更加奇葩的亲生父母……强行安排一波极限救援之后，跟普通虐杀电影没什么区别了，看结尾这个架势是还要拍续集么？

故事是很好的，但是人物传记，尤其是讲述多线的人物传记用来当励志片效果就没有那么理想。
励志运动体裁的片子，激励人心。跌倒谷底也能爬出来。
简单粗暴，废话不多说，氛围感的紧张，没什么故事性，但就是爽。
放在八十年代可能只是普通体育励志电影，放在今天反而成了罕见的不恶心人的好电影了。
第一部老兵是在自家对抗3个盗贼，老兵对自家结构烂熟于心，所以自然有胜算，孤身对抗3个年轻人有可信度。而续集则将老兵打造成了盲人版的《飓风营救》，不仅在自家里，还奔赴毫不熟悉的反派家中，先后孤身对抗近十个亡命徒，这样的设定太过英雄化，没什么可信度。
后半程渐入佳境，稳定发挥，对Kurt的第一场NFL比赛的完美还原令人为之动容。
