其实探讨了一个很好的议题：正义是谁的正义？
为了正义，
韩国人拍政治片真是越来越漂亮了，king maker是指金大中的影子军师严昌禄。光线越强，它的阴影越黑暗，也许电影中营造的二人情谊和关系过于理想化，但是仍被深深打动。从底层一步步爬到总统竞选，光明面是“正义形成社会秩序”，黑暗面则是“为了正义可以使用任何手段”。以鸡蛋做隐喻，如何对付偷蛋的邻居？我会在第二天送给他蛋当作礼物并告诉他错怪了他偷蛋，如果他有良心的话就会反省自己，如果他没有良心呢？那我会来找你。
选了一个非常规的角度，但故事线的设置冲淡了整体剧本节奏起伏，影帝配置的演员也只能说在完成作业。手法是成熟的，片子是平淡的。不功不过吧，但是对于这样的班底来说显然是低于预期了。
根据真实人物和事件产生灵感而拍摄，棒子国的政治片！从最初选举开始一切的欺骗！题材很大胆，薛景求还是保持了一定水准，结尾太过于理想化了！

通过改编金大中与影子军师严昌禄的事迹，来阐述目的与手段的关系这一点很取巧。剧情对政治的处理多有理想化。
开头盘的太大，以为后面会有多精彩。结果最后竟然只是浅捞了一把。
理想不敌现实，离开理想也许会活得乏味，离开现实连活都活不下去。

字幕的质量不高，但全片的主旨还是有所深度，只是受困于现实，候选人没能在剧情内就荣登大位。
靠演技撑的一部较为平庸之作，重点为李善均的“造王者”角色，但选举较量讲得过于浅薄了，薛景求的角色原型金大中的背景也没有充分利用，故事不丰满，氛围营造也差点意思。
节奏快而紧凑，呼应政治博弈的主题，完整度不错。
愤怒的公牛只看到红旗，甚至不考虑谁在挥舞它。
对标其他韩国的政治类电影，这部明显有点弱，但用我们的眼光看，依然相当大尺度。
