The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 作为网大来说是一部精品，能看出来导演想将传统武侠与西部类型结合，有几分箭士柳白猿的感觉，但是打斗戏设计相当精彩。摄影音乐水准不错，除了剧本略弱，文戏有点散。值得一看。

有王家卫东邪西毒的感觉，动作设计和西部感营造都不错。但是很多情节还是差点厚重。主角的演技不够，少了韵味。

打斗在写实和写意之间的某个状态，还挺好看的。
低配绣春刀，及格了，比目中无人好。目中无人这么瓦塔居然都上7分了，这片我只有多给一星才公道。
配乐好，剧情好，演的也不错，可惜现在是小鲜肉和无脑特效的年代，要不然为什么如此空洞无物的沙丘会比复仇分高这么多。就像冯导说的，垃圾电影就是因为垃圾观众太多。这是垃圾的时代！

这部电影的配乐也是用的相当恰当，算是相当讲究，上次有这种感觉的还是前几年的《孔子》。
