The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 感觉是八十年代那种叙事风格，正派反派的理想主义。

真惨。不太想看下去。都知道是怎么回事了。整个村庄就好像原始人一样。
印度都有这种政治黑暗的电影了，很厉害！希望天朝也能觉醒。

3.5。有点脸谱化的主旋律电影，泰米尔纳德警察比日本鬼子还坏。
剧情很虐心，一度我都想离席了，😂但是确实挺不错的，苏利耶的演技绝了，刚开始我都没认出来。故事情节流畅节奏快一点也不拖沓。
男主律师很帅，此电影对印度低种姓阶层的刻画过于真实，真实得令我很难过。印度电影是真敢拍，对女主来说，她最想要的绝对不是钱，房子，而是找回孩子的父亲。
此时不想讨论叙事，类型，技法，形式……
大义凛然，鞠躬尽瘁，简直是超级英雄电影。
印度真是个奇怪的地方，这种低种姓的案子，在有的国家压根儿就不会被受理，就更别提免费的良心律师了
风格过于典型使得电影再好的题材都显得滑稽无趣
每次看印度的电影都可以看到不同的层面，这次传递了一个可怕的信息，我们的竞争对手在反思，而且是正向的（2022-1）
印度版辩护人，四星给题材。如很多影评所言，就电影题材而言，印度早就甩我们几条街了，有教育制度，种姓制度，反抗体制权威，反抗宗教等等。
对于印度底层民众，这部片子在十年、二十年、甚至百年后仍会有影响力。
这是一个底层劳动者对真诚品质的坚持，是一个妻子对丈夫爱的坚持，是一个律师对正义公正的坚持。

过于原始的种姓制度面对突如其来的现代西方文化，这种反差所产生的冲击比我们的更猛烈，印度的神奇可能就是在于这种近乎奇幻的反差，简直就是故事题材的天然沃土...
期待有朝一日聶樹斌案也能拍成電影，一定更加精彩感人！
