The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 因为是东木才能为这片子赋予更多的韵味，那些台词从这个百岁老人口中缓慢模糊的说出来的时候，有强大的治愈和力量。
太乏味了，整体故事都提不上劲，像东木每一句台词的有气无力，仿佛都是仙气
东木还想变年轻吧，只是已经给剧情推着走了…
老少配公路片就是我的雷点，即使是东木，也是暮气沉沉，毫无生意。

东木大爷精神上依旧是那个老派的牛仔，但身体明显跟不上了。

老爷子是不是就想过一下戏瘾？不管怎样，希望继续拍下去吧。
温情有余，就是没什么劲，毕竟这是个现代片，可能更像他本人的侧写了。结尾还是要来一下，小男孩说他会去，也是考虑到要给老头一个好的归宿。不然的话怎么办？美国的关口肯定是被爸爸堵住的，所以留在墨西哥逃亡吗？这点strong和grit才是男孩应拥有的，所以macho送给了老头，是从前那个男人的纪念。

这个男人太会讲故事了，没有那种极致又悲惨的结局，但更好地刻画了墨西哥的现实社会，会推荐
遥相呼应
想起来一个事，拍《完美的世界》时候东木就是个老头了，那时候凯文·科斯特纳还是个小伙，现在凯文·科斯特纳都已经是老头了，东木还是个老头。
典型的公路题材电影，可惜没有多少闪光点，有点太过细碎和泛泛。
剧情平铺直叙少亮点，叙事节奏也比较温吞，故事展现得很温柔，也可以看出作为年老牛仔的东木想展示的表达。牛仔迟暮，但是雄心仍旧。
看完之后莫名特别悲伤，这可能是老爷子的倒数第二部电影了
