The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 莫名充满了亚洲风情，制作人名单一堆韩国名，原来如此。
剧情上来讲只有三颗星，虽然是网飞本来还期待会更惊喜的，但大概动画类的片子还是老套路比较保险吧，这部就很驯龙高手，从看到小红救人开始，就看到结尾了，但两个小时也不会觉得无聊，尽管杂糅的元素有点多，导致支线故事都很不饱满，似乎是也没有想要拍续集的意思，就冲着小红他们仨之间的感情故事看吧！剧情再老套，该哭还是会哭哈哈哈，所以最后不管是海兽还是飞龙，骨子里都是猫科犬科的吗哈哈哈哈哈
故事俗套，但画风之精细，细节之用心，三星稍显折辱，毕竟今年没啥好动画片看了呀。海兽全都可爱，圆滚滚的。但是女主的设定太过政治正确，非要黑人小女孩吗，再说她动不动就露出劲劲的、油腻的表情，好像抖音那个慢镜头歪嘴装帅哥的小学女生哦🙄
今年看的制作比较精良的动画片了。女主有点像克里斯多福。
整体偏低幼，杂糅了不少元素，政治寓意也相当明显，黑人和白人，歪曲的历史谎言，人为制造的恐怖假象，被蒙蔽的民众，甚至把红兽解读成中国也有那么几分意思。总之，又是一部借儿童视觉讲述大人政治诉求的动画片，也自然会显得剧情和人物突兀拧巴。6.4

中规中矩。另外这个故事明显带有现实的映射，比如女性将军，有色人群的正面角色。

《白鲸》+《驯龙高手》。虽然结局俗套，但是也不妨碍它成为近几年最舒适的长篇CG动画。
