The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 镜头语言总是让我想起昆汀（当然还是逊好几筹），杀手 黑帮 未成年女孩 复仇女杀手 ，暴力美学发挥非常好。
爽片，一个女杀手因为目标人物，最后和老师同归于尽的事故。
女杀手复仇记，故事没什么新意，唯一的亮点就是24小时的死亡倒计时带来的压迫感，然而像《金刚狼3》那种开挂兴奋剂设定又有点假，不过疾速系列的团队整体把动作戏质量提高了不少，饭馆打戏配合镜头运动拍的很带感，虽然说单调了点，但痛感和力量感都有，日本流行文化的融合上也比《蛇眼》好了太多。（7/10）
中规中矩，这种剧情见得太多了，就没那么吸引眼球了。另外，伍迪第一个场景出现，我就已经猜到他是最终BOSS了，所以整体就没啥特别的了，打发打发时间还可以
R级场景有点畏手畏脚，美学风格在视觉上的呈现也不是很成功，文姐被虐得好惨😭😭😭
感觉还挺不错的。虽说是有致敬《杀死比尔》的部分，但用不用连鬼冢虎也照搬过来啊……
不是玛丽姐你这个岁数了再加上生硬的身手完全不是R级的料啊，虽然Kate如你大眼睛忽闪忽闪也掩饰不了打戏僵硬的尴尬，跟喽啰甲贴身搏杀的时候不知道的还以为太极推手呢，再就是人生最后一天了干点啥不好非得把干爹弄死smoke weed再杀杀人跳跳舞不好吗？btw东方人stereotype都波及到日本了吗？
开场半小时就告诉你结局，反而有充足的时间和空间去刻画，也逼迫观众去观赏。70分吧

如果主演换成男的，这片子早就被喷出翔了。但现如今只要套着个女性主义的题材，甭管多么塑料廉价的剧本、动作和表演，都能被捧出花来。你说制片方是为了流量和资本，这么鸡贼可以理解，但作为观众有啥可开心的？以前大街上看耍猴你知道喊一声残忍，现在进了马戏团就觉得这是艺术了？说到底不过是把“女性视角”和“猎奇”划上了等号，换种方式继续消费而已，本质上还是逗你玩，这种态度莫不如说是对女性更深层的侮辱。
别的不说，你剧情这样安排合理合适合法吗？fxxk 杀手就该有杀手的觉悟Leon没看过吗

新大魔王，玛丽跟几年前比，蜕变的很成功，荷尔蒙爆棚，女二莫名有些表情像林允，但大部分都很酷哦。煽情方面有些蹩脚，2倍速看，一气呵成行云流水
色调像攻壳机动队黑霓虹，人物造型后半程像考拉，打法像杀死比尔，只有最后一幕🌸出现像暴力美学，色彩太单调，故事也数见不鲜了，但是只要杀小日子过得不错的人就看着很过瘾。
试图用硬朗女主+日本元素打造独特的暴力美学，全都是浮于表面的处理，对标杀死比尔可真的差远了，流水线作品。
有所不同的是坚不可摧无人能敌超人般的杀手也会死。。。
看得出想造一个女版John Wick，也看得出想蹭一波杀死比尔，很遗憾都失败了。确实，动作爽片没人在乎剧情，但那也是你有动作的前提下。
还算是合格的暴力动作片，不过这次是女版基诺李维斯。
