The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 不过台词中的说教意味有些浓，情节之间不是很连贯，导致看的时候并没有多少共鸣。

TIFF // Fern是当代资本主义社会的被束缚的侠女。
因为网速卡而看了无数遍的开头，以至于已经可以默背下分镜。过了很久回味起来，都能记起这个沉默、冷冽、利落的开篇。
荒野里停了很多车那段镜头，跟2077里帕南的营地一模一样
气氛镜头和音乐的堆砌没有很有效地展示人物的内心世界。前半段描绘美国nomad people的生活处境，后半段表现女主尝试却无法与世界重新产生连接的孤独。结尾把流浪归因为一段曾经沧海难为水的关系是否可信？（这样的关系必然存在，但是否在影片里得到足够扎实的刻画？）

其实情节一般，但是节奏好，拍出了一种不哀不伤的人生态度。

被过去束缚着不能停下，貌似自由的在路上。路上的人们都很可爱，有点过于诗和远方了。
观影过程中几度产生一种莫名的熟悉感，直到配乐第一次奏起才恍然大悟，这种孤寂与平静的诗意与Ludovico的作曲如出一辙。从有些本末倒置的角度来说，Nomadland是对鲁叔作曲的一次满分影像化表达。
在这个潦倒的时代，她不得不逃离，即便些许留恋与施舍，也换不来心灵的慰藉，因为这是她为数不多的高贵。科恩嫂这个角色塑造得太棒了，影后有希望。
女人公路片。so natural and wild
lovebifan：让我想起《猜火车》里的那段经典台词，生活中就是有人不想买他妈的大电视，而选择不停地在路上，看群山，看飞鸟，looking ahead, to the day you die.
那段Fern的结婚誓言里的诗好美（莎士比亚十四行诗第十八首），风景色调自然好看。
