The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 2021.10.18 突然发现上映了，然后看完了。最后发展成章鱼大战合成怪，然后几分钟解决战局。过程好水…感觉自己浪费时间，但这个IP还是可以的，还是比较喜欢真人版。
虽然平淡但平淡地舒适，温情地自然，观感特别舒适，台词也很搞笑。老爷子说i dont know how to cure old，向冬木老爷子致敬
在哀叹东木老爷子老去的同时，更惊叹他一生对于电影的这腔热忱。说实话，这部影片只有两星水准，但面对已经过了耄耋之年的老爷子，内心真想给他打出五星。不管怎样，仍然不希望本片是东木的息影之作。
