The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 8.1/通过叔叔与侄子的短暂相处来重新审视语言与情感，而电影通过纪录片与记叙片的切换来重审倾听/表述的重要性 - 短信/阅读/电话/对话/采访 - 去了解自己和他人最好的方式。电影通过slow pan & slow zoom & melancholic music & black and white来艺术化的表现可能却徒增了一些不必要的boredom。
很舒服的呈现，二号男神仿佛又回到了《她》。略带伤感，平静的，舒缓的，向前。

电影的趣味点在于 一边采访不同的孩子 一边和一个真实的孩子相处 采访是碎片化的 旁观者式的 因此可以保持一种轻松 毕竟只是工作 但和真实的孩子相处 需要全情投入 片刻不离 了解他的行为以及心理状态 这是无可避免的压力 男主角似乎是一直在逃避亲密关系的人 但这一次无法逃避自己侄子 两人常常处于一种“交锋” 但交锋也有治愈部分 全程黑白摄影+伪纪录片使电影有着很好的人文氛围和影调 但人物关系处理偶尔有些刻意成分 whatever 本片观感还是很好
温柔的华金，也穿匡威。我也觉得没必要用黑白，并无更突出的表意。

细水般的温柔 不是父子 却可能是我能想到最舒服而亲密的父子模式 黑白画面好干净 光影有了更直观的感受 太可爱了啊woody 好喜欢啊 “it's ok to not be fine”
2022年4月27日，The Projector。看得挺感动的，就大都市生活人与人之间还是需要相互理解。以及即使不是熊孩子但生养下一代的精神消耗还是巨大的。
华金带孩子反倒成了背景，对其他孩子的采访才是成人应该重视和面对的

挺不A24的一部片子，摄影不错，剪辑一般。三段结构逐渐演绎凤凰和侄子的关系，从碰撞到溶解，完成了一个菊次郎式的故事。

“I hope you don’t have the experience, but you probably will.”&“It’s fucked” &“Yeah，I’m not fine”
成人往往会忘了自己孩童时的样子，但是偶尔不经意间又会表现出孩童的样子。本片恰到好处地体现了孩童的纯粹和暖度。其实演员都知道跟孩子演戏是极其吃亏的，但是华金还是做到了，他用温柔的演技包裹住了整部影片。看本片是极其舒适的，声效细腻又绵长，不过我不是很理解为什么要用黑白摄影。
安安静静的一直看到了最后的最后。静静地感受两个小时生命，和自己的焦虑与不安和解。
cute yes，但是你真的要蜻蜓点水cross generation的沟通和人与人之间的理解和沟通，那就是a white man and a white man to be do stuff together, 挺无聊的。
特别的给孩子释放情绪的教育。
