The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 挺简单的故事，朴素的感情，讨一个“公道”二字。精彩的打斗和美术设计，内容和形式都没得说
拍的不错，但剧本是硬伤。
流畅，动作和剧情都够流畅，希望这是好的开始，送两颗星鼓励一下
叼，没啥好说的，74分钟完全可以好好呈现一个电影的容量。低成本也不一定就只能拍飞起来的文艺片，电影人嘛，好好讲故事好好演，拍摄的时候不糊弄比啥都好。
有点像是中国版座头市，一个瞎子剑客复仇的故事。不过做了一些本土化的剧情设置，显得不那么日式，武打场面还行，没有以前港片的行云流水，但是动作还是好看的。整个故事就是很短的一个套路，前因后果都讲明白了，人物出身也介绍了，或许是打算出续作？
网大一般的故事，但不是网大一般的制作。运镜和剪切都很干脆利落，场景道具制作也是尽心尽力，就凭一支羽箭的特写，就可见创作班底是在认真做事了。谢苗作为演员的外型差强人意，以前的小洪文定倒是鬼小精灵大。

总的来说，前半段铺垫很不错，后面除了火刀惊艳到之外，张力不够，BOSS战草草了事。

一部古装爽片，美术，摄影，动作在很多细节上都颇用心思。片名也是亮点之一，值得稍加细品。
