两次泪崩。。一次是看到Swankie发来燕子满天飞的视频。。一次是see you down the road。。一路的悲伤和执着。。看完内心满满的。。他们这些人。。看似游离在荒野。。却恰恰是最难以割舍情感的。。导演大赞。。嫂子大赞。。镜头大赞。。配乐大赞。。
房车是船舶，房子是陆地，在海面漂泊经久，已不能在陆地安睡。于路上修行，在人间流浪。不是抛弃一切上路，而是带上一切前行，父亲送的盘子，丈夫留的照片，车里装着岩石中间的那一点空气，赖以维生。见过悬崖百燕纷飞的盛景，念过与你白头不朽的诗篇，纵使生活在没有他的世界，只要在路上就不会诀别。
在我看来，这是反公路片甚至是反好莱坞的公路片，它如一个圆环：外在的路线与内在的心理都是，永远绕不出去，无穷无尽不死不休——弱人物弧光甚至无人物弧光，因此愈加浪漫美妙的表述反而带来愈加深邃的绝望。路上的人们是拥有抛弃所持一切的豁达魄力？与此相反，他们上路，是因为无法放下自己一无所有之余的仅有。
看开头以为Nomas上路是因为物质，越到后面越发现是因为精神，物质不断断舍离，精神却愈发沉重，他们的余生只能用回忆填满。碎镜头很多，没有一个明确的主线，厉害的是这些零零碎碎能形成一股很浓郁的、洒脱的、孤独的、怅然的情绪，赵婷确实有天分，麦克多蒙德的表演也非常细腻。延续了《骑士》的呼吸剪辑节奏和自然影像风格，漂亮的晨曦和晚霞。What's remembered, lives. See you down the road. 想想有点好笑，骂赵婷骂到电影撤档的粉红们错失了一部表现美国非光鲜面的作品（好吧，那些人也根本不会好好看电影
放逐：
挺别扭的观影体验，宁愿看五遍dirty feathers。真人被抽走血肉注入罐头糖水，真的生活被打包进gap year的浅层体会，真的冲突和愤怒被漠视模糊。太假了！所有创作涉入看来完全是失效的，和《海边的曼彻斯特》一样难看。（当然也可能是一部基于某种视听策略的电影，与某些感受机制的人相互排斥。）

产业转移后失业的丧偶中老年人流浪般的床车/房车生活，到处打零工，很拮据。床车/房车生活，短期可能浪漫，无奈的长期生活就是凄惨。。
基调是感伤的，然而赵婷的镜头施加给弗恩的不是“磨难”而是“浪漫”，这估计也是赵婷与凯莉•雷查德之间的差距。
让人想起卡尔维诺写的：你走了那么远的路，只是为了摆脱怀旧的重负。
排泄、无声告别、上路、裸泳、石头，她所有的心绪都用非语言来表达了，还有那首新婚诗。拍得太美了，“我们路上见。”
