The IMAX "Cosmic Voyage" film was made as a public service with sponsorship by the Smithsonian Air and Space museum. On DVD, borrowed from my local public library, it plays at just over 30 minutes with Morgan Freeman supplying a pleasing narrative. As one would expect from an IMAX film, the image quality is superb and the Dolby 5.1 sound track is very well done. Simulated cosmic explosions shake your walls! That is, if you have a good powered subwoofer in your system. The film takes a very useful approach to examining the size of the universe, from tiny sub-atomic particles to the vastness of the whole universe. (Fortunately, when God created the Universe he had dispatched a few angels with video cameras at different vantage points so we get to see actual footage from several billion years ago.) The film starts in Venice, where the discovery of the telescope originated, and uses a one-meter hoop as a reference point, then gradually goes larger by powers of 10, e.g. 10 meters, 100, 1000, etc until we can see the whole universe. Then it takes the opposite journey, going smaller by powers of 10 until be see inside sub-atomic particles. The story is well-woven with beautiful effects created especially for this film. It is entertaining and educational at the same time. All of "oldsters" can enjoy it for the scientific history we are already familiar with, and all the "youngsters" can enjoy it for the educational supplement it provides. Overall a masterful film. Any numerical "rating" of "Cosmic Voyage" is meaningless. If one is looking for a superb film about our universe and modern theories of its formation, this one is hard to beat. 看着新鲜，不知云云，重工业废土朋克风格，魔幻现实主义风格，肯定跟人性有关系，跟西方圣经有关系，讲述人类与地球乃至宇宙之间的关系，轮回，巴拉巴拉…………
无序中显现有序，丑恶中浮现美丽，一部十分疯狂且优秀的幻想之作
预告挺惊艳，正片挺失望的，感觉导演没有在好好讲故事，想靠装逼猎奇来吸引观众但那特效和画面还不够装逼
这样一部电影，定位挺尴尬的其实。大的历史框架是不能动的，否则就变成架空历史了；虚构的人物只能在既定的框架里作有限的游走，创作空间相当狭窄，而观众对于最后的结局早就了然于胸；对历史人物的描写也处于暧昧地带，介于写实和虚构之间。那这样一来，作者对历史人物（比如张伯伦）的重新评价，其说服力就会大打折扣了。
我的天啊这个角度，真《张伯伦：忍辱负重的黑暗骑士》？？？（不行，希特勒这个演员完全不行，完全不行，再搞什么啊）
1.导演绝对玩过inside；
先别管什么隐喻不隐喻的，视觉感受真是非同凡响。饭前服用疗效好！
别，别给绥靖洗地了。希特勒的诞生是因为一战分赃不均啊！解决一个问题的方法难道是再制造一个问题吗？问也不问就把捷克小弟给卖了，不夜大英衰落史。
又“看不懂但大受震撼.jpg”了，不过很享受观看过程。
这是碳基生物能整出来的活？艺术过于超前了吧。
筹备了三十多年做出的定格动画，虽然不解其深意，但我大为震撼，频频作呕。
疯神要想用特效做出来，说再过50年也不为过，可惜就是没讲啥东西……叙事很混乱，其实我看一半就看不下去了

不禁张大嘴巴，啧啧称奇。有些画面极易引起不适。部分影评谈此片基于旧约圣经，如此云云。
过于不适 无法忍受。太多的重口，导致我无法get作者的隐喻
是那一类7分中规中矩历史片，题材、剧本、演员在那，执行地只要规规矩矩就不会差的那种，现在的历史片因为大事件都拍过了现在就专挑一些不为人知的隐藏故事从小抓起，这部还是容易看进去的，洗白张伯伦，乔治麦凯又开始奔跑了，帝国的毁灭演戈培尔的演员终于混到演元首了
