The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 片中在银行中不杀人质很奇怪，对自己人毫不犹豫开枪，在中国类似事件警方并不会受绑匪威胁，而是直接封锁消息冲进去。一开始很期待三人在银行的表现，后面故事很让人失望。
温和，却呈现出另一种残酷，比血腥的残忍更残酷！自由，是需要付出代价的！

困惑期的故事看完总是觉得疲惫和无聊，看剧时内心反应也会是“这没必要、没必要”“这也是大可不必”
建立在谎言之上的形象，都是假象。

真实历史事件改编，虽然不太懂南非历史、种族隔离制度、为了争取自由平等所做的牺牲，但是电影本身渐入佳境，高潮处戛然而止，还是有一定冲击力，不过也有不少问题铺垫不足。

本片取材于一起真实的案例，发生在南非的一起预谋破坏行动，因为失败而演变成劫持人质案，最终又转变成为一起争取种族民主自由运动。
想着如果能了解一些也能多一些尊重
另外三位南非“革命先驱”在片中形象真的一点都不高大全。男主卡尔文有哮喘，也不像是特别聪明的人。但当你看到他们为了那个在当时根本不可能达成的目标而拼上一切时，又深深的使人动容……
很有意义的一部电影！社会是不能忽略摩擦力的，世界也不是那么简单的！允许一切情况的存在更加理解包容！
这是我见过最温和的抢银行，这是我见过最。不害怕的人质。30年前的80年代的南非，到底是黑人说了算还是白人说了算？麦格拉在民众中的心目中的地位是如此之高。
