The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 最后 Emilie告白并以“C'est la vie”结尾，然后自由的anais说“我不同意”，最后伴着电梯吻落幕。与理智碰撞的爱情或许只有像anais这样追求自己欲望的人才能得到延续，但真正的结局其实早就注定。
