多人分饰多角的形式除了经济效率外，在阐释故事的团结和谐主题也有一定的符号化作用。适合放在小屏幕上的百老汇，故事视觉化、篇幅也短。
编排得很好，可惜歌曲稍微有点弱。主题虽然再熟悉不过，但故事确实温暖而细节丰富。

因为《应召女郎》，这部从剧情和立意显得温馨友好。“越界”剧情后面的处理略简单，似乎女主完成体验的期待而完满，但向学生说破真相这段真的是情感的破冰么？因为男主的故事线不立体，握手祝福好运显得拮据。
小房间，两位主角，加之段落化的戏剧表达，导演把台词设置得极为精妙，从欲望, 偏见，到性工作者创伤的爆发，再到最后平和的收尾，一步步恰到好处。
剧情很有耐心很不错，尤其是最后立意放在彼此疗愈上。不过性工作者的合法性还是不能因为本片而被推举上舞台。还是只能处于灰色地带。
导演敢拍宗教女教师召妓，豆瓣却容不下男妓二字，也是很讽刺
Emma Thompson最后在镜子前欣赏自己的那幕跟张艾嘉在《20 30 40》中很像。
