这年头想看个像《老亨利》这样的西部片都已经很难得了。
西部片给人的感觉总是混乱而又暴力，真怀疑当时人们怎么活下来的。正如老亨利，即便归隐又怎能逃得过这样的西部世界，混乱终有终结，希望正在路上，一如儿子远去的背影。
剧情紧凑，没有废话，还有就是不要多管闲事！！！
好多影迷说是传统硬核西部片，但这明明是老无所依式的西部哀歌。当然，导演希望比利小子后继有人，而传统西部片能再现辉煌。

这类西部片子我好有一比，就象中国古代的律诗或者八股文（优秀的那种），都是一个完整的小故事成功塑造一个人物，起承转合结构一板一眼的，精巧如同导演系毕业生的设计作品，可以平均高分，也不够特别出彩。
看的时候想起藤泽周平的武士小说，默默无闻的小人物，受困于艰辛生活，性格懦弱，被家人看不起，但其实是一个身怀绝技的侠客！
